The International Driving Permit (IDP) is your passport to driving abroad. It translates your national driving license into ten languages, allowing you to rent a car and drive legally in more than 150 countries worldwide.

Issued by the Saudi Automobile and Touring Association (SATA) and its authorized agents, the IDP is recognized internationally and gives both citizens and residents the freedom to explore the world by road with ease and peace of mind.

  1. Must possess National Valid Driving License (one-year validity-minimum)
  2. Applicant must have a valid Saudi National ID or  Iqama
  3. NO Pending Traffic violation
