Embark on a captivating journey of discovery into the heart of history and nature in AlUla, a unique Saudi destination. This program focuses on rich cultural experiences, starting with exploring the pristine secrets of the Nabataean Kingdom in Hegra and contemplating the ancient arts etched at Jabal Ikmah. You will have an unforgettable desert experience under a blanket of stars, enjoy the authenticity of local farms, and dine while listening to traditional stories and music, thus discovering the balance between the ancient heritage and the beauty of the enchanting natural landscape.
Day One: Arrival, Elephant Rock Sunset, and Starlight Magic
- Arrival and Check-in: Upon arrival at AlUla Airport, you will be met by a dedicated representative and your private driver who will assist with your luggage and facilitate your transfer to the hotel for check-in and rest.
- Iconic Sunset View: You will be taken to the famous Elephant Rock (Jabal Al-Fil) landmark for a spectacular sunset experience, complete with local coffee and tea as you admire the incredible view.
- Desert Stargazing Experience: Journey out to the Gharameel area, a perfect deep-desert location, for an exceptional stargazing experience and contemplation of AlUla's clear night sky.
- Gourmet BBQ Dinner: A delicious, specially prepared BBQ dinner will be served at the stargazing site, providing a perfect conclusion to the day.
- Return to Hotel: You will be escorted back to your hotel for a restful night.
Day Two: Archaeological History, Local Farms, and Heritage Stories
- Farm Breakfast: The day begins with a transfer to a traditional private farm to enjoy a fresh, local breakfast, immersing you in the authentic rural atmosphere.
- Hegra Exploration: Set off for a historical tour of Hegra, Saudi Arabia's first UNESCO World Heritage Site. A local Rawi (storyteller/guide) will lead you through the monumental structures, with coffee and refreshments provided.
- The Open-Air Library: Visit the ancient archaeological sites at the heart of AlUla: Jabal Ikmah (known as the open-air library of inscriptions) and the ancient Dadan Old Town.
- Authenticity and Relaxation: As the sun sets, you will be guided to a beautiful traditional farm and restaurant for an evening of relaxation and enjoyment of the local ambiance.
- Heritage Dinner: Listen to local stories and tales shared by a Rawi while sipping local coffee and tea, followed by a special dinner accompanied by musical entertainment.
- Optional Starlight: An optional late-night visit to the Madakheel area can be arranged for stargazing before returning to the hotel.
Day Three: Nature Walk and Departure

- Leisurely Breakfast: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.
- Morning Hike: Embark on a pleasant walk along one of AlUla’s magnificent natural trails. Throughout the hike, your guide will point out special viewing spots and rest areas where refreshments, coffee, and tea will be available.
- Leisure Time: Return to the hotel to rest, with free time allotted in the afternoon for relaxation or personal exploration.
- Optional Gathering: An optional invitation for coffee at Winter Park is extended, allowing you to conclude your trip by mingling and relaxing before your transfer.
- Transfer: Transfer to the airport for your departure.
